Cofino (“we,” “us,” or “our”) is a product of MayeleOS Inc. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information when you use the Cofino mobile application (“App”).

By using the App, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

Information you provide directly

• Email address (when creating an account)
• Drink and shop reviews you submit
• Taste profile preferences generated during onboarding

Information from third-party services

• Instagram / Meta:If you are a shop owner and choose to connect your Instagram Business account, we collect your Instagram username, user ID, and an access token issued by Meta. This information is used solely to display your shop's Instagram content within the App.

Usage information

• Shops and drinks you save or interact with
• General app usage patterns (no precise location is collected)

• To provide and improve the App and its features
• To generate and display your taste profile
• To display Instagram content for shops that have connected their Instagram Business account
• To display user reviews and ratings in the App
• To communicate important updates about the App

We do not sell your personal information. We may share information in the following limited circumstances:

• Service providers: We use Supabase for database and authentication services, and Meta (Facebook/Instagram) APIs for shop Instagram integration. These providers process data only as needed to provide their services.
• Legal requirements: We may disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights and safety of our users.

We retain your account information for as long as your account is active. Instagram access tokens are stored securely and refreshed periodically. You can disconnect your Instagram account at any time from within the App.

You have the right to:

• Access the personal information we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate information
• Request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us at support@mayeleos.com
• Disconnect your Instagram account at any time from the App settings

Cofino is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, please contact us and we will promptly delete it.

We take reasonable measures to protect your information from unauthorized access, disclosure, or destruction. Instagram access tokens are stored encrypted and access is restricted to authorized services only.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by updating the “Last updated” date above. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
